You handled that sleeve I see. Nicely done. What a jacket!

Thanks bud. The lighting in the pictures definitely accentuated the issue. All it took was light scrubbing with a leather cleaner and then Dr. Jackson's. I'll see what happens but have Pecard's Black waiting in the wings. It was hardly noticeable under normal lighting.

The jacket had a nice layer of dust on it. The seller wasn't lying when he said he bought the jacket at a thrift store in the 60s and then just left it in his closet for another 60 or so years. Time for the jacket to get some sun. Live a little.

I need to loosen up the side laces to wear it comfortably. Will leave it for now and just wear it open here and there. I prefer to wear my modern jackets to ride anyways.

It is a well-made jacket. No loose seams, stitching, etc. Solid as a rock after all these years. It really is impressive. Even the storm cuffs are still tight around the wrist.

Not exactly wearing this, as it is too small, but been looking at it for inspirations! A beautiful early Grais, not sure what leather. Some panel appears shrunken, some panels are very thick, others are soft and lambskin-like. Grail piece.

I think Shawn really outdid himself. This one was tough and there were multiple built in tests in the measurements. He aced it. I’m kind of shocked as I was not expecting it to be this good. This one has me smiling ear to ear man.

I’m actually happy for Shawn too. He’s accepted many challenges from knowledgeable folks. Done very well for the most part. Exceptional in this case.
