Oh boy when you put it that way I guess it really is not for the faint hearted. That's crazy how cold that might be, not to mention the effort to shovel your way out of the snow and the short hours of daylight. Lots of respect to the people who get a real winter.

I think England's winters are just perfect - not too cold or extreme and don't last too long either.

Haha that's nothing. I have an entire room full of jackets, hung on 4 industrial strength store style clothing racks.

Yes!

Looks like you picked the most appropriate style for a shearling. It also helps that it looks really good and does the job to keep you warm.

Cheers.

Great investment, trust me.

I have Canada Goose, Moose Knuckles, Moncler, etc also but nothing quite like the feeling you get from wearing shearling.

Seconded! I have a B3, and I don´t even care for the looks much. It just happens to be the only leather jacket that fits over a suit and I don´t leave the house without it these days. And I am NEVER cold (-11 degrees C this morning...).

I have worn it a few hours at home(when received), two days outside.

It feels weird to wear sneakers but I need to due to painful tendinitis in my Achilles.

Excuse the poor pics, bad lighting at home in the evening, too warm light.

You can see it is very A or bell shaped. It wears roomy but comfortable, doesn’t feel like I am wearing a jacket at all.

It can button just like this too making a super small collar.

The deerskin is amazing. I got caught in the rain and didn’t cover myself. It made the leather less stiff and gave it some quick character. I managed to scratch and scar the leather without noticing on some spots but well it is meant to be worn.

Today's jacket my just arrived "Ben Sherman biker jacket" in size L.
Not sure if the "distressed leather" is really my thing.
Fits well enough. I found the "Made in Pakistan" label that was not obvious in the initial eBay Australia listing.
Supposedly originally $600 AUD , which I can believe. I took an $80 AUD punt with $15.35 AUD post. $95.35 AUD total.
Which translates today to $71 USD delivered. Probably a good buy.
Smells very fresh , even "new". It won't need the eucalyptus wash then RM Williams leather treatment routine.
Sleeves don't zip too tight , may prove too breezy on the Harley.
One pocket zipper puller was lost (I knew that) and has been replaced already with a small copper crush washer.
First wear out to the coast for morning coffee.
