Perfect, this is exactly the use I was thinking of - an exterior shearling vest to make a spring/fall leather jacket punch at winter weight. Great job on the design & sizing!

@Monitor posting this so that you know that I am not some bird assassin looking to off every Mr. Beaks I see. On my way to my storage unit to pick up my bike I saw a Muscovy duck with two broken legs trying to cross the street. Luckily I had a box and towel in the trunk, and used both to get the duck to a local wildlife sanctuary I found online. You see, I am not a sociopathic bird killer, though lucky for her she didn’t crap in my car.

Off to ride, in my LW J23 btw.

New to me Y2 type II. Courtesy of @ton312

As compared to my original Levi's type II, it feels a bit long for the style. Apart from that the fit is great for layering.

Anyway my gf said "hey that's a nice jacket". Which means this is a keeper
