I’ll shut up about it after this post. Got a good bit of light on the front porch to really showcase the Horween lux. TBH I’m not much of a huge teacore guy but I do find this to be really striking and beautiful. I think it’ll brown up quicker than the CXL overdye, which is truly more brown to begin with. Anyway, can’t say enough good things about this hide. Aside from Cordo and Midnight blue CXL, Horween Lux is a real gem to look at.

Gold Label Brooks CR today. Nice easy wearer but I still prefer my brown AMF Harley version. Chest pockets on the Brooks always nudge me as being slightly too low. That being said, any Brooks owners want to trade a Black CR for this Brown??

Mr. Raja sheepskin jacket (lol yeah, that's actually the brand name even tho it's made in Italy but it's got that home made custom vibe and it's genuinely is a brilliant jacket) x Aero 60's trousers x Harness boots.

So Aero makes a mean jacket but they make incredible leather trousers. Just got home from a pub, these are extremely comfortable despite being 11 lbs of CXL, they fit great, they're fun to wear and they're warm. Most important of all, I wasn't bored. And to think I actually paid more for IH denim jeans when I coulda had these all along but no, I was too chicken sh1t to wear what I wanted to wear.

today was an overcast with a feeling of green house humid warm here
This is turning out amazing. Great difference from the pale original color.
Thanks it was quite fast even when i dont wear it often due to #stay at home the whole 2020, i just hang it there outside my room in the shade facing my back garden day and night almost the whole time.

...but need to up that dad game.

No offence taken Monitor but YOWZAH on the price of those ironheart jeans !

I pay usually average $40 Aussie ( $30 USD) for used Australian MADE jeans on ebay/Gumtree. last made early 2000's.

Levi 504's and 604's. Some 511's and 501's

Some do fit better than others, but as I have said before , "My male modelling days are over...."

That’s the ticket exactly! Finding the things you really like, and really going for them.

“The by-standers look askance on him in the public street or in the friend's parlour. If this aversation had its origin in contempt and resistance like his own, he might well go home with a sad countenance; but the sour faces of the multitude, like their sweet faces, have no deep cause, but are put on and off as the wind blows and a newspaper directs.“ R.W. Agree, the prices are idiotic. I guess it's down to personal values. No one here is a male model so that comment goes without saying. I wish there were alternatives to jeans as the look doesn't appeal to me all that much over the age of 30. Problem is I hate chinos - an awkward, accountant at a weekend barbecue look.

Unbranded brand makes a great 12oz “chino”. More like jeans in terms of cut. I have pairs that are over 5 years old that I just throw in the washer with rit dye every 6 months or so. Not expensive. Great value x longevity. I will say too, I also have my first pair of IH jeans that are seven years old and still strong. I’ve donated and thrown out an equivalent price wise of Levi’s
