Been wearing black leather jackets at work lately (giving my G-1 a break for a bit). Today was my Gibson & Barnes former American Airlines pilot jacket converted into Merchant Marine Captain jacket (Gov’t declared the US Merchant Marine “essential workers” during this pandemic so I’ve been working every day). Navy hospital ship USNS COMFORT sailed into NY Harbor recently (quite a sight!).

serious jealousy towards your guys, I feel Ryder is better pattern than boxy Suburban.

I was struggeling between the Ryder and the Suburban, but @JohnDMcCarters pictures fixed my decision-making. I believe, both are great jackets that scratch the same itch, and your LW´s where among those which made me reach out to Stuart back in December.

I was just looking at these. Interesting pocket configuration. You like the denim and cut?

I do. I have two of these and this heavyweight indigo denim one is great for when it's cold out. My other one is an unlined one made from red cone mills denim. The unlined one is better for all day use while the heavier, lined one is more of an outdoor during cooler weather jacket.

I'm knocking about the house in my Aero Maxwell in tumbled cordovan. And drinking a glass of red wine in sympathy with its colour. I'm rotating jackets between the Maxwell and a battered seal Cafe Racer - the CR is showing wear with anything I do in it (wine aside) and I really like the hide and the way it wears in - battered seal achieves much greater visible wear than battered tan (although I also liked that one, too, and reckon it'd make for an awesome LHB.
