I couldn’t agree more Tom! That is exactly why I settled on the Ryder in black. All of my other black jackets were cross zip or cafe racer style and I wanted something cool that could also look a little more formal if need be.
serious jealousy towards your guys, I feel Ryder is better pattern than boxy Suburban.

Very nice, welcome to FL - is this Cordovan Sheene a new arrival?
Thank you, and thank you. Been into leather jackets for a longer period and also lurked the forum for a while, but decided finally to register.

The Sheene is my newest Aero, and still in its break-in phase. My other, much loved Aeros are 1920s Premier Work Coat in battered tan midweight HH and an older HWM in brown FQHH.

Are these unprocessed pics? Not sure, looks like HDR. If so, can you post an unprocessed pic? I like the jacket very much, just not sure if the color/contrast on the pics is reflective of how it looks.

I really love the brass hardware on the older Choppers.

Is that Comp weight? How do you like the Leather? I do have a Chopper (Comp weight) that is really well broken in, but the leather still is pretty uniform and plasticy.
Yes, I love the brass hardware on the thick black leather. Yes. It’s comp weight from a few years ago. I like it’s reassuring thickness and heft when riding, although it’s weight, especially on this Chopper, does take some commitment.
