Cold rainy NJ day, figured it would help the Model J Vanson yield a little but no luck. I need about 1/2” extra on the hip area as this is a fairly slim 40. Good fit up top but slightly tight on the lower half. Might be up for grabs in the classifieds soon. I’m unfortunately probably a perfect size 41, that no ones makes off rack. Apologies for dirty mirror!

Cool jacket. I bought one two years ago but had to return it to Vanson. Sizing just didn't work out but I do like that jacket and wish it fit. I bought a 40 and I think the 38 was too small going by their measurements and I am between sizing. Their sleeve lengths are always pretty long for me also.

On a side note, getting any kind of measurements out of Vanson was a very hard endeavour and was like pulling teeth. These companies really need to list measurements on their sites.

Vanson will make you a custom sized one as far as I know but I did not want to spend the extra cash or deal with the wait.

If you can, please pm me the measurements of your size 40. Maybe if it is on the smaller side it may work for me if you sell yours. Sleeves longer than 25.5" may be a problem for my stubby little arms.

50’s Perdecto by Schott, maybe the first double rider made under their own brand ( before, they were under Beck’s licence)
A rarity!

Little tight and a little short. I’ll probably have to do the dreaded soak, wear until dry/ self loathing exercise with this one but that can wait.

This is a great jacket, looks great on you. I've got one as well and love it. Its pretty neat you've got some fades started, I believe IH treats the denim on this jacket for fade resistance. The jacket is so cleanly put together, my only wish was that the pocket bags were sewn in completely so they functioned as interior pockets like they do in the truckers.
