@nick123 let me know how well that "action back" works - I'm thinking of ordering that modification on an Aero jacket myself sometime in the future but am curious if the design is actually effective in improving range of movement. Thanks!

Eastman Luftwaffe at Eden beach 50 K's north of Perth Western Australia.
This jacket is maybe 6 years old , bought "barely used" out of the UK in September 2015
In truth the jacket was almost unworn. Exact same jacket I bought brand new in 1990.
Eastman now call the same jacket "the Ostmann" and it is around $2000 AUD plus import duty plus post !
1099 pounds sterling new !! I paid 381 pounds sterling for it delivered to Perth Western Australia.
Thanks the gods of ebay for that one. A warm jacket , many days here it is just too hot.
On a recent pilgrimage back to Scotland last October this is the one and only jacket I took with me.
And it proved to be most necessary with frost on several days while there.

Another uncharacteristically grey/dull and windy day for the peak of our summer !
Grey/choppy Southern Indian Ocean in the backdrop.
We have to have 38C again by next Tuesday. Oh well , back to the Goathide I suppose !

I sold to nick, yes it does it makes the jacket "very" comfortable and gives a fuller generous range of motion without a doubt

The Few X Mushmans Petrol green/Ortensia Badalassi...Badalassi more and more becomes my absolute favorite leather. It feels soft and supple but substantial and almost as heavy as Horween CXFQHH but very robust similar to LW's HH. The smell of Badalassi leather is just intoxicating

This is how the ortensia color has developed over time...started to be brighter as pictured.
