Merry Christmas all,

I saw your jacket on Instagram. Looks like it was a cool, fun project.50s Excelled MC jacket, with new Harris Tweed lining
Bummer. I haven't noticed any weakness in the leather on this one. I'm hoping none shows up because I like the look quite a lot.The last jacket, russet suede, always liked this style, but had bad luck at my closest encounter. Bought a NOS (even came with hang tag & original cleaning sponge) by forgot who, my size, but the moment I put it on the armhole seams came apart, then the rest of the seams just all start to fall apart, & it’s not the thread, but the leather. It’s probably because 1) the suede side facing out offers less protection against element & 2) it was not a true “roughout”, but some kind of split. My true roughout Jerry’s is still strong.

Thanks Gamma. It would work out a lot better if we would continue to have the spring like weather we've had for the last few days. Ha ha. I"m happy we made the trade. All three look great but the Lawrence is a standout. Glad it worked out for you!
