That black coat and the A-2s are outstanding even amongst this collection of awesome pieces! There's a cool to black jackets that can't be denied and damn, that hide looks thick!

The Kehoe CR gets most of the wear time these days with the warmer temps, but taking advantage of some unseasonably cool temps accompanied by rain today to bust out the CXL FQHH Aero 30s HB:

Love the jacket, though the lack of gussets and limited arm mobility means it doesn't pair well for life with a toddler and newborn. As such, didn't get as much wear time as I originally had hoped. Here are some closeups showing the evolution of creasing and grain at the 6-month mark:

Looks amazing! How the the made to measure process for you? Looks like they just nailed the fit. Did you just give body measurements and let them go or did you provide measurements of jackets that fit well? Curious because i would love to get one of these

It was a seamless process I’d say, well, one small hurdle that was to tell them “I’m a bodybuilder@, because they found my dimensions a bit “off”, lol. Truth is though, I can still use more shoulder ease, and front chest room. The tailoring technique Lewis uses is in sharp contrast with Langlitz, Lamglitz definitely applies the “darting” technique, such to not alter the length of the label edges but add “dome” room on the panel, so that if you lay flat the jacket and measure, the dimensions look the same as an Aero or Lewis, but it fits much better as the “dome” creates form fitting curvature around the budging aspects of our body. Hope this makes sense. Anyhow, to truly make a custom Lewis there’s a 50 pounds surcharge.

We should make a FedoraLounge wall/desk calendar out of Dav’s photos. You sir make any & all Aero jacket look superb! You must wake up at 5am everyday, immediately put on a jacket, & do all kinds of labor & sports & all, until sunset, then have dinner & sip some beverage by the fire in the “todays jacket”, & repeat all over again in a different jacket. I just feel life is too short to break in all of my jackets, & most of them are not Aero...

just came back home from 1/3 of x-men dark phoenix, i hope other people enjoy it better than I. wore my double denim jackets :)

so that movie was garbage. i came out of the movie and was like wtf how did they butcher a story with that much potential. so i looked up the screenwriter and guess who it is? the same dude responsible for x-men: last stand. that dude has actually succeeded in messing up the phoenix saga twice now; what a career!

edit; i actually feel bad for matthew vaughn and his two stars mcavoy and fassbender who put up such a good effort to reboot the x-men franchise only for singer to jump in, take it off vaughns hands and ruin it.

Fassbender and McAvoy are crying all the way to the bank. They are solid actors. Too bad.

Dark Phoenix was such a great comic book series back in the 80s! Along those lines, they should introduce Beta-ray Bill into the now funny Thor movies. Or...how about Rom the spaceknight.

The X-men died with Logan. Which is one of my all time favorite films, genere agnostic.

It was the sansa from earlier season in got, annoying and not symphatetic at all, and it was crawling slow, so i took out my mobile dimmed the screen to minimum and start browsing, then a guy who brought his familly sat next to me provoked me by turning on his mobile and face it toward my eyes, saying something about he is annoyed and blinded by my dimmed phone and lets see whos screen is brighter, his wife said something but he insisted to be annoying mofo, so i turned off my phone, and sat there for few seconds then i felt angrier the longer i sat there, so i got up and went home......

And bought another type 3 jacket:p

Sorry man but I think you got off lightly - I would probably have physically grabbed your phone and thrown it. Even dimmed down this is annoying.
