They did horsehide too.

The Steerhide shows up more often.

They do have a very nice tailored fit.
I didn’t know that. Thanks Terry!

True but it is my soul jacket. This hide ...it can’t be duplicated. In almost 15 years of collecting Aero...it’s the only one of its kind I’ve encountered. True 4.5 maybe even 5oz mega steer.

Keep it. And do so because it's not perfect which means your expectations are no longer an important part of the enjoyment you get wearing it. It doesn't need to be pristine and fawned over, it can we worn and trashed. This is a jacket you can let your kid wear because it has so much of yourself and history in it. The cut is just a story that will always be part of the history of this jacket.

By “flair” I think you must mean...the best collar EVER, and a fantastic fit!
I love the almost 3” drop in front. It also has D-pocket stitching like on the Block-bilt jackets. Yes, I believe they only did steerhide. I’m pretty sure that’s what mine is.

Superb jackets. Very nice design on both. I want one now. :D

Indeed. After my repair and a couple of days of wear it’s all but forgotten. In other words:

My long awaited Lost Worlds CHP arrived today and I couldn’t be happier.

This beast weighs in at almost 10 pounds but it feels pretty comfortable right out of the box. The horsehide is thicker than that of any other jacket I own with the possible exception of my vintage Cal Leathers CHP.
I’m quite pleased with the fit, especially knowing that it will only improve as the jacket settles in and softens up a bit.

Holy frigggn cow!!! That is amazing!!!! How did you spec the fit? It's perfect, not too trim but still very neat. What an amazing jacket! That's a game ender right there.

That came out perfect. Enjoy it, awesome jacket.

If I had to thunder dome all of my jackets except for one, my LW CHP would be the sole survivor (or maybe my best Cal). No, this LW would win, it is that spectacular.
