Perfect fit! That extra heavy black is nice stuff isn't it?

Holy crap it is nice. And not as stiff as I thought. A win all the way around. Wearable immediately. I like the details very much. They have taken a basic design and made the cut solidly stylish, especially with the details; red lining chest pocket, leather pulls, hearty nickle zippers with nice contrasting zipper tape, very well designed shoulder gussets and that NON Fade Super Black. Gorgeous.

And it is true. I have followed Monitor's great denim posts without saying a word for months; Ton gets on the denim bandwagon and everyone loses their shit!!!!

Awesome! It's cut just like my Aero made Lee! Man, and it's got all the right fades. The sleeves, the front, etc.

I prefer the Lee jackets to the other brands. Bob Dylan wore a Lee in the Concert for Bangladesh performance. Worn them since. He was cool, thought I would be too.

That does fit you perfectly and it's an awesome jacket! I've always wanted one but figured I'd go with the Type-3 for my first few heavy denim jackets. How are the shoulder gussets kept inside since there's no elastic band holding them in place, like on leather jackets? Something I've always wondered about.

The gussets do not seem to have anything other than the super thick denim and stitching that encourages them to pop back when not stressed.

Thanks! The deerskin is certainly softer than the HH, but it does still feel more than durable enough. Plus, I can't complain about the added comfort!

What a great looking jacket Dude!
I remember when I saw that one for the first time a few years ago and it blew me away. I was pretty new to the jacket thing and did not understand what all the hype was about Japanese jackets, the Freewheelers Sunset is the one that made me sit up and pay attention.

This was definitely one that I noticed immediately. I love the design so much. A cross zip, but not a motorcycle jacket.
