Check with Carrie. She'll give you good advice. Many of us can have similar or different torso lengths regardless of height.
The opposite happened to me, I bought it in 40 size, and it turned out to be small.Keep in mind that this Highwayman was made 18 years ago and they were true to size. Some say the ones made now are oversized ( although Aero seems to deny it ) and dropping down in size is the way to go for some.

Hey, can I get an accurate measurement of this jacket? just wondering how different it is from the size 40 that make today))Today I wore my first top tier HH leather jacket that I bought in 2001. An Aero Highwayman purchased off of their sale page.

Yes, I was looking at a Highwayman on the sales page recently, a size 40 with the same chest as my 42??? I decided to leave it.
Lost Worlds RoadMaster size 48
(I’ve got room to grow into this one)

I’m thinking I might be a 46 in Lost Worlds jackets...
Buying Aero is a lottery
Idk about that one.. if you can return it, I would seriously consider it. Can you wear it and get away with it? Sure thing. But you could do so much better... the question I ask myself with every jacket I try on, is "would I grab for this if it was laying next to one of my top 3". I have seen you posting here pictures of way more than three jackets that fit better than this.
Not always and not everyone has this opportunity. This is why I believe a personal fitting would be in my best interest.
