The seller said it was 70s or 80s. Very good price so I couldn't resist. Soft but heavy brown leather. Hoping Vanson can give me some background on it. I like it a lot.

If you send them the serial number they will give you a year and a leather type.

That's the way to go like @A-1 has been doing with the cross zip.

For example this whole winter I am only wearing my Himel Grizzly because all my other vintage leathers have character already and they are not warmer to wear.

Vanson just confirmed that this is an early Model F in the high quality cowhide of the time. The Model F was first designed in 1976 so this must be an early one. Officially my oldest jacket but looks like new. A keeper.
