Here's back in November the 10th at the kingston record sale, by an abandoned factory about to be torn down. a frank Kozik pin next to what you can't see as a patch but...That's a Jon spencer Sings the hits patch I got at the Show in Detroit, saw Jon spencer open for the Melvins and he signed my 12" tour Vinyl that I got...they were AWESOME! It cost me my very last dime to make it to the show, I tell ya, had to borrow and steal *...I'm like eatin' out of the trash can these days man....*

Today....it’s a brown Cal Leathers. Weighs in at near 6 lbs+/-. Quite a bit more pliable than the old battle blacks. Doesn’t squeak as much either.

That's the one. Wish he would have found the brown straight-zip CL but this was definitely a solid consolation prize. It is in great shape, the leather smells great (like my other black CL) and the shoulder gussets work well. I will ride in this one and keep the other one for off-the-bike wear.

Well, here it’s 3ºC.
I wear a thin wool sweater underneath, and I’m ok. I won’t say I’m warm, but I’m not cold.
The jacket is jerky horsehide lined with alpaca wool.

Was this jacket this grainy when it was new? Or was it pretty smooth and the grain appeared with wear?
