I wish Aero offered the Type III with handwarmer pockets. They've been made like that for decades now, though not originally, and being an 80s kid it really feels right to have them, and an inside pocket. Shearling lining/collar would be a good option as well... I better stop thinking about it.

Iron Heart have one with handwarmers..no shearling but if they made this one in my size I would have no problem ordering one..comes in brown also

Agreed. I sort of miss the pockets on my Vanson Lee jacket but probably mostly 'cause I always had 'em on the Type-3 I recently sold and have gotten used to them being there. But yeah, got the hand-warmer and inside pockets on both IH's and they make the jacket sooo much more practical. No, actually, they make the jacket practical. Period. The two chest pockets are next to useless and (un)buttoning them is a choir, especially on a leather jacket.

As for the collar, that's definitely going to happen on my jacket. I'll install it myself if needed! It makes all the difference...

I have them in everything, denim, lather, suede, nylon and I need more. Especially in leather. That's a nice one! Such luxurious fleece. Lol. They don't use this kind anymore. New ones are so thin...

Yeah, I don't know how old this one is, I got it for $10 from a bulletin board ad at work, about 10 years ago. Total steal. Fits great. And so warm. The fleece is polyester, but it does the job, and looks good.

Today I wore a Cockpit “100-Mission” G-1. Mission 101 was 8-hours out in a boat in NY harbor, keeping me warm on a cold blustery day!
The 100-Mission has awesome washed/vintage goatskin and overall the jacket looks quite similar to photos I’ve seen of some WWII Willis & Geiger M-422a jackets.

Now that one looks cool, but as is so often the case, it's the really photo and the model that makes it work.

Finally was able to get my Goodwear Perry Sportswear A2 out of the closet and wear it. The weather has been a bit warm for it, but today it was just right.
