Not much in the way of jacket weather around here lately, though I did have one on for an hour or two the other morning. But today it's cloudy and not too hot so I can wear this Schott Perfecto I found today. For a little while at least.

A bit on the snug side perhaps.

Am I correct in thinking this is a mid-70s label?

I like this. You've really nailed the 'Dee Dee Ramone' fit, looks rockin'. Though worn with the fedora it has more of a Mick Jones (The Clash) look. I like a fedora with a bike jacket - more folks should wear 'em like that, imo. :)
Thanks Edward. Fedoras go with everything don't they?

Couldn’t agree more Edward. One makes the other!
Hey Michael, how bout a Topper and crosszip? Ha
Be well. Bowen
Nice collection Bowen. Unfortunately I passed on what was probably my only chance to buy a mint topper that fit me like a custom. Just couldn't talk myself into it. Oh well.

Thanks all,
Michael

I won't be wearing this for 6 months but I'm happy to report that after a trip through the washing machine AND the dryer this 70's suede beater rancher no longer smells like the basement of the worlds oldest building, is soft as silk and will likely be my go to winter crusher. I'm somewhat stunned I didn't destroy it. All for less than a cup of coffee. Well not really but close.

Ton, that's really awesome that the suede didn't get overdried and brittle after its trip through the washing machine AND the dryer. The jacket looks very nice after that (quite risky) procedure.

I know man! I thought for sure I destroyed it. But the dryer was set to low heat and I opened it and stretched it at 15 minute intervals. The gunk that came out of the jacket in the washer was unreal. Makes me think suede is not as sensitive as we may believe it to be.
