Here we go again! After 9 hours on the boat groping our way through white-out blizzard conditions, you get to fight your way home in the Jeep on snowbound roads and then shovel a mix of snow/ice/slush from in front of the house while the last of the snow pelts you in wind gusts of 25-30mph!
My Navy deck jacket is becoming the go-to jacket for just about anything!
Aside from this cheaper than dirt/tougher than iron Navy-issue deck jacket, these conditions are not where I’d normally risk a favorite jacket (definitely not a $1,000+ bespoke leather jacket). Tho this storm might be ideal to break-in a brand new, heavy duty leather jacket such as a LW bomb-proof horsehide jacket or maybe an Aero FQHH or CXL steerhide beast. Just my 2 cents.

@mr_lits That's a great jacket and the fit is perfect.. you couldn't do any better if you tried.
Q- what jeans are you wearing in the pic?
I cant remember the brand on them but they from a company producing out of Hartford, Conn. The jeans have a lot of nice subtleties including a penny top button. They were also a pickup here on the forum.

Sorry, no pic, but wearing my AVI Bronco. Such a comfortable A-2... Great fit. Going to get lots of wear as the weather gets warmer.

I got one of those pairs from our friend Tweedydon and just gave them a soak last weekend. They can still stand up on their own. Incredible pair of jeans, but those buttons are tough little buggers.

They are a TOUGH pair of jeans. I wear them a few times a week and they are softening up. I got mine from Tweedydon as well.
