What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Ahh... there you are!

A-1... Stop being a whore, stay faithful to your first love, quit letting other jackets wrap themselves around your body.

Have a little plaque made up with these words from our Atticus Finch on it, and mount it on the inside of your closet door:

"The main danger in having too many leather jackets is that one is tempted to wear them all. I believe that the only way to end up with a great leather jacket... is to buy it new and wear the heck out of it. And to properly “wear the heck” out of your jacket, you’ve got to develop a relationship with it that isn’t unlike the one you have with your wife. You’ve gotta be committed to it. Totally. Which means you can’t be sneaking around wearing the heck out of other jackets...even if they’re yours. Though the temptation might be great."
Multiple jackets don't ADD TO your happiness, they DIVIDE it.

We are all watching you... make us proud!

DISCLAIMER: The above is lighthearted jesting... but true.

This is such a good statement!
Actually, yes I’ve been thinking about letting the Thedi go. Just because I have one leather jacket and don’t need another. As simple as that.
Maybe, when I find time to take some pics, I’ll post it in the classifieds.

What the hell is this? This must be one of the most beautiful wool jackets I’ve seen.

Cool isn't it? Came from Italy, said it was made by John Lofgren. I have another, probably a Japanese make, also unlabeled. It has not been out much. I'll get it out tomorrow for some pics. It is a jewel.

Have you seen Diamond Dave's Wool and Leather jackets? I had this one for a short time, but could not come to terms with the seller. It was a size 48. It was sold to another. I found pictures of this one and another on an old DD website. I have no idea if he does such work now. These were around 2013.

Love these. The long Hercules wit a belt is
Really cool. Nice hat too.
My Freshly Monarch labeled Black Beauty. After discovering the Californian label was faked. Dave Sheeley kindly installed his new Monarch label. The jacket was and is a Monarch. Made it look and feel like a new jacket.

Me in a Sam Walker highwayman I snapped up on ebay a couple of months back. It’s super heavy and there still is quite a lot to do before claiming this has been broken in. The main zip is a huge talon #10! I believe the leather is steerhide although the label only says quality hide so it is just my inexperienced guess. It’s a sort of a test jacket as I like the style but I read it’s difficult to nail the right size. I might consider an aero at some point in the future. I’m a 39.5” chest and this is a size 36. I’m fairly happy with the fit although I definitely would not size up. This is roomy!

Since the zipper is already a bit wavy, I'd go full-on Hot Water Treatment to loosen that bad boy up, and shape the collar.

I was thinking about it but I’m a bit scared about the wool lining
