Corozo buttons.

Anyway, my wife actually said it's no reason not to wear it in the mean time.
So here is a quick and dirty snap. I need to tame the collar but apart from that it's a cracking jacket. The cordovan Vicenza is such an nice colour. It's a shame about the button but that's really a first world problem

Bad luck with the button and hope it gets sorted quickly puts a damper on a otherwise great looking jacket , my Areomarine I'm sure also has Corozo buttons I hadn't really give the buttons on my jacket much thought until now but it just struck me I had no idea what Corozo even was until I read your post

I just got this off the 'Bay: an old LL Bean sheepskin bomber jacket in a large size 46 long, mint condition for about $100. A tag inside the pocket has a manufacturing date of Oct. 15, 1990. The new Bean bomber jackets have acrylic pile lining and fake fur collars; this one has genuine mouton fur collar, wool fleece fur lining and wool cuffs & waistband with thick, nicely pebbled goatskin leather. This one is absolutely pristine, thick, heavy and should be warm as heck come winter time!

And those Indy's the icing on the cake.

Thanks. The boots are actually J. Crew boots that are probably a design knock off of the Alden Indy's. They're a much lighter boot and not the same quality but are comfortable and much cheaper.

Ok. Looking good anyway. I think union made goods had a similar Alden some years ago. I thought it was that one.

They are warm as Hell! I had my knits replaced with GW's rust knits.
