Back in our garden in rainy Germany wearing the Japanese jacket again. My wife said I look like a Japanese student from the 1930s. I took it as a compliment.
But @Michael, look what I've found in Sweden! These deadstock army pants from 1957. They are unworn, with the original tag still on them. And the best thing, they were only 80 Swedish Krona, which is 8(EIGHT!!)€. And they also fit perfectly. Man, I couldn't stop smiling walking to the counter with them at the Loppis (which is a Swedish kind of flea market)
Have a good weekend everyone!

The jacket and the pants look great A-1. The Swedish wool is some very nice cloth and that is a great deal. I would say I would be dying in those pants with the heat and humidity here, but I went mushroom hunting in wet woods this morning wearing waxed cotton pants,

And then when I got home I had to try on some what I think may be Kriegsmarine Leather Submariner pants that came right as I was leaving for the foray.

Sorry for not having a jacket in this post, but there was at least some leather.

After a week of separation anxiety from my leather jackets I had to put this jacket on this morning. This Aero is my all time favorite jacket ever.

I was quickly scrolling down, saw these pics flash by, said "holy crap" out loud and scrolled back up. True story. Awesome jacket.

Between you and the guy w/ the new LW J-24, you both look like what I want to look like in leather jackets when I grow up.

If I wasn't already an adult. And not white.

Ditto. I've seen Ton's jacket already but every single time I open this thread to see what else has been posted, I make a stop at the pics. Literally as perfect as the leather jacket can get and in my opinion at least, the nicest cross zip / D-pocket / Perfecto we have had on this board. And one of the nicest Aero's, like, ever. Absolutely no way there's anything else left out there in this style for Ton. Game over, thanks for playing.

Thanks guys. Truly my fav jacket in all my years of collecting and my 4th incarnation of the pattern. Between this and my JL my cross zip journey is a done deal...now what to fixate on next...?

Wearing them! This is only the beginning. Now you gotta get them to where they belong. Faded edges, loss of colour, patina, pins and patches, back art. . . Oh my!

@Monitor is right. Finding the jacket should be the easy part, wearing it in and really aging it is where it's at, I know it gets said a lot around here but it's true....this is the worst the jacket will look.

This is but the first step in your journey grasshopper.
