That's the colour as I see it. Horween Cordovan Colour#8. I asked for the darkest cordovan that came. It is lovely. Olive stitching, button cuffs, v yoke, olive lining. Patina forming beautifully.
Those are really nice mods. Somehow it works much better and more balanced than my 30's HB did (which was similar in config).

I really liked the modified Sheene they did for the Brough Superior lauch with button cuffs.
Always had a soft spot for legendary bikersTE Lawrence and Barry Sheene so nice resonances in this style.

On women, the right jackets never have to button or zip if the cut is right. While the first thing we do is men is zip it up move our arms and see everyone if it is too tight.

Torrential rainstorm today out on the harbor. This Navy-issue G-1 was a perfect choice; the chrome-tanned hide sheds water nicely and with the collar flipped up, I was quite snug despite the nasty weather. I swapped out a Velcro "captain" patch where the P-3 Orion pilot had his aviator wings.

I'll be spending my indoor time breaking this 10lb monster in. This is my 4th j106 and easily the best fit and my fav so far.

I'm geeked to say the least. And a huge thank you to member @AC76 for being a pleasure to deal with and a super nice guy too boot.

Perfect fit and perfect jacket aside, what the actual f... This looks 6oz! Seriously, LW and Vanson seem lightweight compared to this. Why don't they use that kinda HH anymore. ;_; And the large zipper! What is it, 10? The collar and everything...

Beautiful jacket and perfect fit. Love this style. Shall we compare patinas in 2047?

You definitely need to hold on to this one @ton312
Yes I do. I am now over my allotted number of jackets though. By two. I told myself 4 was too many but rationalized I could potentially wear four over the course of a season. 2 jackets will be cut from the roster. This will not be one of them. It's funny but here, on my 4th attempt at a j106, not made to my specs, the fit is best. I lost a whole sh$t ton of money over the course of roughly 3" of leather and 4 years.:oops:

LOL. I'd love to. My retention record is pretty poor but I suspect this one has some staying power!

Ton, I don't get why you are not keeping most of your jackets? Most of us are so envious of the fit and look of each jacket you own. Plus, I think in that fit the jacket will look fantastic worn hard. So keep it. Keep all of the ones you own now! And wear them damn it! Haha.
I know it's summer in Chicago...
