Love this! Your jacket fits excellently Radz, as always. Do you buy custom, or are you just the 'right' shape to get the best from standard sizes?

The Burberry and Coach jackets I have are all standard size. I buy Aero jackets that are in my body measurement range either ordered or stock regardless of tag size.Love this! It's definitely East German. I have one the officer's insulated winter version which has a removable 'fish-fur' collar. It's the warmest thing I've ever had on, but it's now too small on me. I picked it up for a song in a surplus store in the early 90s.Fly front cotton jacket. I think it's East German Army.

Thanks for the confirmation Dr D. It's a nice tight twill weave and not much heavier than a shirt. So I wanted to trial it today for some upcoming mushroom hunting in thorny woods. I figure the combination of the tight weave and the hidden buttons on the front closure and pockets might make it a good candidate. I think it will be after a half day of wear. I'll pair it with some Canadian made waxed cotton pants and I should be impervious. It's definitely East German.
