What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Recycle pic, but wearing my [just back from the tailor] Aero A-2. Purchased from a fellow Lounger last year knowing there was a small hole in one wrist knit. It was not usually visible, so not an issue for me. This year, I noticed that wearing it was causing the hole to grow. I contacted Aero & they shipped a set of new wrist knits to me in the US for about $24US. A trip to my tailor and it's good as new again!

Nice man!
What hat a re you wearing?

Been so mild here in Chicago I've only had to wear sweaters of late. Did bust out the Johnson leathers today. In the off season this jacket is going back to Alan to be fitted with a snap on mouton fur collar, done in a nice rust/brown color.

Quite a lot, yeah. :( Went on a diet, just to lose a few pounds then got ill and now I'm never really hungry at all anymore and I'm getting thinner and thinner...

Man, so sorry to hear that! Eating is one of my favourite things!
Get well soon!
However, it's good for a black leather jacket rockstar look!

When everything's collapsing, trust the kids!

Today's space oddity is another 88 cent special from earlier this week.

Cresco, I'm guessing from the 70s.

I've been wondering why they get so little airplay around these parts since they were in the leather jacket business from 1903 til the early 80s. My search turned up only 3 or 4 mentions here. A little web sleuthing shows it as the trademark of Creese and Cook Co, a tanner of calfskin in Danvers Massachusetts. Anyway, I get kind of a kick out of this jacket, particularly at that price point. It was quite stiff, but some Cadillac conditioner softened it up nicely. I might give it another coat this afternoon.
