Catching up with an old friend from school punk band I havent Seen in many a year.

Frozen Waterfall. Beer. Dogs. Flight Hat and N-2B Jacket, Combat boots and pants getting real use.

What a lovely Day.

Simple idea, post pics of the jacket you are wearing today.
(What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?)
This thread may have legs, it may fizzle, either way I am sitting here waiting for my wife & loving my Aero Goat modified half belt.
Have fun people!

Still a bit cold for my eastmanleather hartmann, but I wear it anyway :)

I like the way the sleeves sit on this jacket as well. My arms aren't very long in comparison to my chest size so many of my jackets fit long in the sleeves. With bomber jackets this can end up with a lot of tunneling which can be a bit annoying. Short sleeves would also be annoying though it isn't something I have much experience with.

I've been away in Utah for a week or so and am just catching up on some threads here …
That's a great jacket Nick - but I have to say, in all honesty, I think it's too small and it looks like it belongs to someone else. I'd want someone to tell me. Back in my single/condo days, I used to have a full length mirror beside the front door so I could check my look on the way out and ask myself "Mirror Mirror on the wall. Do I look like a twat in this?" and it was my fail-safe so that I didn't venture out in public and over-do any look (my girlfriend would say today that it didn't work! LOL!).
I only usually speak up if if I have something a) positive to say or b) if I can't be positive, then it behooves me to be constructive and I think it's important for us to be honest around here but be polite and diplomatic in our critiques (as delivery is important and needs to be carefully considered - we all come here to relax and people can feel vulnerable when they put themselves up on a thread and I don't want to offend anyone around here) - otherwise, the place would reek of positive affirmations only - thus rendering any sincere compliments worthless and indistinguishable.
So that said, I'd kindly suggest that you hunt for another jacket that looks like that one - as the jacket is a winner - but one that fits your frame better and it looks like you're wearing the jacket - and not the other way around.
Love you, man!

I know I know. I appreciate your honesty brutha. It's already sold. Nice jacket, and a cool historical specimen, but you and others are right. I appreciate the kind words.

I'm glad the jacket was successfully moved on, Nick. Good call. Something better will appear - and it'll be a keeper!

As I said, I was in Park City, UT for a week as my girlfriend was away on business and her company generously flew me out as her "+1" and I feel incredibly privileged as they are amazing places they all stay at (a standard of comfort that I'm really not used to!). My girlfriend organised a trail ride for us out in Heber which is where this photo is from. What an incredible afternoon that was. Very special. So this isn't "What jacket I wore today" - it's more "What I wore all last week".
Last year I took my ELC Luftwaffe, but this time I took my Aero ANJ-3 which is what is in the photo. It must be said that I cannot believe the amount of compliments from strangers that the jacket got in all the shops - it never had so many! My girlfriend (who doesn't understand the whole jacket thing) went from rolling her eyes at them (at first) to eventually accepting that this jacket must be something as the compliments just kept coming! Ha!Ha!Ha!

Great photo... I've spent many a night / weekend / week as my wife's guest at her pharma industry meetings and conferences and I have no complaints as to the level of comfort that supplies.
