HWM is a jacket that should end right where yours does @Hh121 , I think the boxy fit along with the length I chose doomed mine. Yours looks spectacular.

Nah man, I don’t think that’s it tbh. Your jacket looked spectacular in every way. Had it been shorter you would have sold it for being “too short” [emoji23]

I have different opinion, yours looks much more muscular especially the back. But after all, you are 40 lbs heavier than me!

I actually think the opposite...With the jacket coming to such a sharp taper and ending right at the waist the way yours does, it creates a much better V shaped torso. Mine was far more tubular in the body. Probably more like a board racer body. I have found a desire to shorten the length on my leather jackets a bit lately. I dunno...just looks better. Not bolero short but right below the belt or at it looks far better in certain styles. Your HWM is a perfect example!

JL in 4-5 oz dark brown cowhide (color impossible to capture on picture, jacket even looks black in real life)

Fairly cold in Germany, only way to wear is layered with this sherpa lined Carhartt jacket. Can't zip it up unfortunately with this on. While jacket has wide shoulders and generous chest it's fairly trim in the waist.

I have always felt that a tad short is much better than too long. Too long makes me feels like Pachanga from Carlito's Way. And it looks better in most styles.

This arrived today assuming zippers/tag are original to the jacket I date this to the 1930-40s?? It wears like a half-belt, I assume that’s what it is???

Amazing wearable condition like it’s been hanging in someone’s wardrobe with my name on it waiting for me, no issues at all with this jacket even smells ok, nice clean intact lining, perfectly good working Talon zippers,
