Aero cafe racer jacket in battered tan. The hide is doing some great things, patina Photo on 05-12-2018 at 09.50.jpg Photo on 05-12-2018 at 09.48.jpg -wise. I used to think this jacket was too short, but now I don't care... Zippers are Waldes Repros, which feel a little 'light' but haven't broken in the few years I've had it. I'm thinking that if I move back to Japan (or back to HK), I'll take this and my evil-looking black Stockman.

If Santa ever considers selling this jacket, I hope he considers reaching out to a certain Elf on the Shelf in Fort Lauderdale.

There is one on Etsy that is too small for me.

I need a hat like that! What do you call this style? Cabbie?
Hey ton and @Guppy heres something to consider. I saw your post about which hat to pick. I don’t have a ton of leather shops in my hometown but I do have several vintage and made to order hat shops in the area. So I do have several “high quality” newsboy, panel, and fedoras. But I always tell people who are just getting into hats or are in a budget. Check Kohls of all places! I had a 20 gift card from a family member and picked this up for 20 dollars and I wear it more often than any of my nice ones.

Alpaca Wool
Ah right. I’ve heard that it can be quite warm. Can you confirm this? The one type of leather jacket I don’t have is a winter leather. I really want a B-6 or D-1. But I also had the crazy notions of getting an Aero Thunder Bay and replacing the Sheep with Alpaca.

Well about the only two linings that Aero offers that is their warmest in civi jackets besides fleece is alpaca wool ( their wine colored or burgundy is the thickest alpaca ) and herring bone tweed. Neither is near as warm as my Aero B6. Thicker fleece like a B3 is just too sweltering for me in most circumstances unless for some reason I must trek cross country in blowing snow ( hasn't happened yet ).
