What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Just noticed the zipper box is solid brass on both, it's a small but nice touch as Vanson has recently transitioned to a plastic zipper box. Would love to see some shots that highlight the color a bit more. I've always very much liked the C2, particularly the back as it's reminiscent of the model B...I always feared the body length would be too short for me tho.

3 initial comparisons to the Model B I own
1: shorter which will likely avoid bunch up while seated on a cruiser
2. While it does stand on its own it feels slightly softer
3. Sleeves. Not as ballooned in the bicep, not as tight at the wrist. One year in and i still cannot fully zip the wrist on my watch side on the B. No problem here outta the box.
Examined stitching. None missing and more than straight enough for me (same goes for the B).
Now that so many vendors require a delivery signature, and the major carriers hit my house while I’m at work, i have started having things delivered here. Productivity will suffer. TBH today is pretty much shot now.

I’m not 100% sure, though i have an idea. Two Vanson C2s were just delivered by Santa in brown.
Fit opinions solicited.

I'd say the second with the belt tied to the exact middle belt hole. Nice and snug for riding with room to adjust the belt in either direction.

Not really a recent thing, my 2008 CHP 2 has a plastic zipper box, wonder what is going on there?
Are these two jackets new?

Interesting. I thought it was closer to 2012 when they made that switch. Either way I prefer the brass box. It's a small detail but we all know that's where the devil resides.

I vote 36, shoulders and arms look the same but waste is much neater.

I wear my new Vanson highwayman to class today, and it squeaked a lot, people keeping turn back and check what's going on with me!

My Highwayman is SUPER loud!! It makes noise with every little move. Not sure what to do to quiet it down.

I got my Vanson in September and it has the plastic zipper box.

I read somewhere that talcum powder silence the squeak. Can't imagine how that would look or actually work tho. I actually like it. Cheap jackets don't speak, er squeak.

The Model A I bought back in around 2004 had a plastic zipper box also. That disappointed me.

It's an odd thing to me. I can't understand the point of swapping a nice little brass box for plastic. Scratching the tank? Me thinks that's highly unlikely...
