Agree with you and @Superfluous that the first one is more than a bit large. It looked nicer when I wear another layer underneath. Maybe the sailors also went a size down when they were issued it?

Here's the Restoration jacket Kosay sent my way. It's really a neat vintage piece that, surprisingly, fits quite well. This is a Guide Master Wolf jacket in relatively original condition. Estimate the vintage at early 50's
