Edmund Church M-69F. Perhaps the most over-the-top coat I’ve handled. Beautiful, substantial goatskin shell, massive mouton collar, full alpaca fur lining (with a layer of rayon on top of the top half for getting the sleeves on more easily). Reinforced stitching throughout and extra leather at potential wear areas.

It certainly is a deep black this one, but the lighting in the photo really made it pop. Not so slick in reality.

What knowledge do you seek? This is the older LW CHP pattern. Less length and a tad more blousy from the mid-section to up on high than the current CHP (as I understand what Stuart did). A more traditional MC pattern. It does have the mouton in the cuffs. This LW 4oz has been broken; super soft and comfy. The older stuff is firmer for much longer. Not sure what else to add- I love it and I love LW.
