C&A Pilot Jacket (pictures from internet, mine is more brown and not worn at the seams as the one in the pictures), I have recently upgraded the faux fur collar with a fox fur.

I didn't like the faux fur at all while the rest of the jacket is great .

It was done by a furrier. I had expected this to be an easy job but it turned out to be way more complex than I thought.

So, I think my saga with HD One Pocket Sportster has come to an end, thanks to @Marc mndt .The Sportster was my first real leather jacket back in 2020 when @Monitor recommended I pick up one for a song on ebay. It was size 42, and too big unfortunately. I sold it. I then picked up another 42, and guess what, too big as well. It went to Australia. Not to be accused of being a definition of insanity, I then picked up a 38. You guessed it, too small. Off it went. This is a 40, and I think I finally got it. Pretty sure it is horsehide, too, with Conmatic zippers dated either 1954 or 1964. Either way, this one is staying.

CR’s don’t do much for me but that jacket couldn’t possibly fit any better. That is a 100% perfect fit. As good as it gets across any style of jacket. Period and end of story.

Thanks Ton. I have two classic CRs that are keepers, this and a Bates. Will be fun to wear them on cooler days in FL (if they ever come). Both mid-to-lightweight. The heavy stuff is going across the pond. I do get a kick of wearing 60-year old jackets that still look good and fit. There is something timeless about them.
