Super cool jacket!Got one of those myself! View attachment 539412
great vid congratz on the new channelJust dropped another episode of The MCC! In this episode we talk about our favorite denim jeans.
cool sleeve creasin, I also like the idea behind the darker stitches so one day when the leather darken with time and wear the stitching would be more tonal to its final look, lighter color zipper tape ( cream, olive, light brown, sage, etc) would look beautiful on this though.Got one of those myself! The Flat Head SJR-80.
This is one of the very first "serious" leather jackets I purchased - got it at a great price off of Y!Japan many years ago in near-new condition. My first impressions back then were that it was too tight and short, and I've come very close to selling it on multiple times over the years, but in the end I opted to just wear the hell out of it.
Fast-forward a few years and, while still snug (it wins the award for being the jacket that has given me the most arm bruises during the break-in process), I find it very wearable and now I think the length is perfect for me, for this style. Live and learn
Glad you kept it, pretty darn close to a perfect jacket. Definitely not short, in fact it should not be any longer.View attachment 539522

Thanks Will, I definitely agree about the length. At the time I was much more used to the longer jacket lengths that a lot of modern leather (and other) jackets tend to have, so it did take a bit of getting used to. Once I got over that though, I realised how much better many jackets look when they aren't cut too far below the belt line (though it depends on the style too, of course).Glad you kept it, pretty darn close to a perfect jacket. Definitely not short, in fact it should not be any longer.

Perfect fit on that undisputed king of all crosszips!Vanson “E“ from a fellow lounger. Flawless condition with two belts and a mouton collar.
This is a tank of a jacket, and it will need to get WAY colder for me to be able to wear it.
I have been looking for this model for some time now. Thanks to @ton312 for advising on the correct size. Vanson is notoriously inconsistent between their models, and while I can go down to a 40 in some jackets, this is a 44 and had to be!
