Unfortunately I already sort of deconstructed it in a fit of rage. There are just scraps of anger at the bottom of my dumpster now. Second time in 20 years I’ve seen rot like that. Like it goes from leather to sawdust.
Yeah, I understand the frustration. That’s why I sold all my vintage jackets a few years back. Just had too many issues with trying to keep things wearable. The only old jacket I still have is the Excelled leather I bought when I was 18. Everything else is new reproductions.

I’ve had some good luck with vintage stuff. Probably around 150 pieces or more over the past 20 years or so. This is only the second one I’ve had crumble. TBH I should’ve known better. It’s time for me to stop buying yellow jackets that started off brown and thinking I can Botox that ass back to life.

Edit. Disaster! The back yoke completely crumbled like cardboard when I turned the sleeve inside out! Was going to attempt to hand stitch the sleeve repair and the yoke literally disintegrated! Threw the damn thing right into the dumpster!

I’m done! FTS!!!!!
I think I might've cried. I'm guessing there's no practical way to have the yoke replaced by someone like Deena in a scenario like this, and from how damn perfect that thing looked at first to this must be a real kick in the &$!@. Sorry for your loss!

Potentially I could have Dena do that but the cost would be astronomical. Just not worth it.
