I have not handled as many vintage cross zips as you, but I guess I am lucky that both my Spiegel and Kit are awesome. Spiegel horsehide is a little stiffer and thicker, Kit is much softer, surprisingly so. Both weigh close to 5 lbs.

Woeful week, my sister got deguefever hospitalized, my mom got light stroke hospitalized, I got heavy flu symptops with fever, painful joints, but only lasted 2 days doesnt develop into fullblown flu, i hate being sick more than a day.
