Wow! Great color comboNew arrival, 50's Levis Suede Shorthorn. It's it perfect condition, owner picked it up in 1973 from New Zealand from a vintage store.
epic. I've been on the hunt for a brown suede something too. I kind of want something in-between a type 3 and maybe something slightly longer. Not a lot out there in the used market. I really like Todd Synder Dylan jacket but jeez $1k. This is really nice though. Congrats!New arrival, 50's Levis Suede Short horn. Agree. @Leigh H has been quietly putting together a most epic collection. I think @Marc mndt has one of those truckers as well.epic. I've been on the hunt for a brown suede something too. Mine were a bit older I think. Sold all three because they were either too short or too tight. I had fun taking pics thoughtI think @Marc mndt has one of those truckers as well.
Thanks Will, this forum has been a huge inspiration and fuelled my hoarding . It makes me feel like I’m not the only crazy one collecting jackets. I’ve just setup an Instagram account.Agree. @Leigh H has been quietly putting together a most epic collection. I think @Marc mndt has one of those truckers as well.
Oh man, Dena would make short work of the seam repairs. Maybe the seller can knock $100 off the price? The Kit Karson came in. About the nicest vintage jacket I have handled. Nearly identical to the wool Wolf. I had found a grail….and then noticed the seams were busted wide open underneath both pits and the zipper was coming undone. If I had a dog, I woulda kicked it. So, painfully, and mostly on the principality of it all (to quote Big Perm), it is going back.
