What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

That jacket fits you perfect. I love that natural hide look, Beauty!
Im hoping to check out the S&S store next time I’m over that way.
Fine creek. Leon custom.

longer sleeves on the shirt and shorter sleeves on the jacket are not ideal, especially when the jacket is zipped up. I need to pick my base layer with sleeve length in mind.

I love that you're getting so many jacket wears in Texas. Makes my complaining about Los Angeles weather seem very snow flake so to speak. Lately, mornings have been chilly out here though, so I'm getting one jacket in until about 10:30ish. And then usually at night around the house I put on another. Really digging how even after 10-15 steady wears really starts to transform it. Picked up something that had been on my wish list for a while. I'll post some pics later. But I finally got my rotation down to about 10, so I can easily wear each jacket at least once per week. But I got 2 more on the way (that LL Lightning and a future FL) so we'll see if I need to streamline a couple down the road. Any case, glad to say jacket weather is upon us. Got some hot days later next week, but without a doubt, mornings and night time in the least, you can wear a jacket without looking like a total freak LOL.

Same here, early wears and evening wears without the double take and wtf look. Screw em. I like my jackets. Lol.

Thanks for all the input, guys. @ton312, the leather is pretty stiff and a medium weight, but it feels like it'll break in relatively fast. And it's comfortable already... Not like the beastly Schott 613 that I gave up on last season.

I like the color @tmitchell59
It looks fantastic and the fit is really good!

It is a step above in the Deerskin ratings. The more Tailored Deerskins can be quite nice and a bit harder to find. The Color is true.

Man, I love that new Taubers of yours, Terry

I know. I've grown to like it myself. This one would be more difficult for me to part with. I've thought about contacting you on the Taubers, I know your interest.

Thanks, just a custom jacket made locally in my country east java indonesia out of my own doodle, for this one I bought the leather myself it was 1.5mm pressed vegtan cowhide for the body, and 2mm pressed cowhide for the cuff and patch pockets. As for price i bought the materials leather and liner and hardware around $100 from local tannery natural vegtan tooling leather and fabrics supplier for the lining, and i paid for construction a little under $200 to a leather jacket workshop nearby. That was my doodle, if you want to do a custom for personal use, you can use the design and bring it to custom jacket maker like 5* here or elsewhere, about material i must warn against using a pressed tooling leather though.. it was not the right choice for garment, it was pretty hard to wear the first few months, if you choose a vegtan leather better be a non pressed hide, it has more grain from start, still functioning pores and much softer.
Seriously impressed. The design is exceptional - although this jacket will work for a distinctive body type - that is, if you have relatively short torso (0 tummy) and long legs. BTW - this particular style would work really well in deerskin and the pockets+cuffs being stiff leather like cxl - giving some shape. Again - congrats for this one.

Thank you, i love to sample deerskin or other soft yet thick juicy hide, one day. indeed I picked different leather thickness for the pocket and cuff hoping the thinner leather will be broken in around the pocket and cuff and would age slightly differently.

Found this suede trucker on Vinted. The numbers seemed OK, and the seller made an offer so cheap I took it just to check if it would fit. Surprisingly, it's not so bad, apart from it being slightly too long and bunching up in the back.
The label seems to be ripped off from Aero

Very good find, congrats! Yeah, many Gems can be found on Vinted :) The body length looks good (for my taste), sleeves are slightly too long...probably you can roll up the sleeves.
