+1You’ve got a great collection, but this is your best and coolest. Change my mind.
now I think this is oversize done right , really, the shoulder is wider than yours, sleeve look full, a bit of material on the upper torso, but tapered well toward the waist and wrist.Old Cal CHP from @dannyk I got the sleeves shortened/slimmed over at the good folks at JL

Morning walk, streets are still closed around my neighborhood just back and forth stride on my own street.

no, we can, just the interconnecting streets within the neighborhood are closed, so each street has separate access directly to the main street, usually I do my morning walk using thess interconnecting streets zig zagging my way within the whole complex now I can't. there is a drugstore and pet supply store nearby but now to reach them I have to walk all the way down along my own street, walk on the main street, then go in again on the parallel street behind mine and walk up again to reach the store while usually I just cut through the neighborhood... I really don't see the point why make this fuss for us pedestrian and morning walkers, morning walkers at least care a bit about their health and wear mask, and we walk very early before sun rise how do these people would spread virus while the rest of the neighborhood are still sleeping on their bed.So you´re not allowed to go past your end street? That´s some harsh restriction! How do you go about shopping, visiting relatives, going to work, the doctor etc.?
On topic: At least you´re parading your hood in style...!
It feels like a size 42 on the shoulder at 19", almost 2" too wide on me. It's 23" pit to pit, so around 4" too wide in the chest. The bottom hem is absurdly small even for me at 17", i can't really wear it zipped up (aside from taking photos lol) because i might rip the zipper tape.
With that said about the measurement issues, I don't know why it still looks the way it does on me. It's just that old Cal allure probably. . .
Pls wait 2-3 weeks for the next Cal. . .

I was referring more to the jacket and less to the fit. Though you got this one looking excellent given your measurements and preferred look.
They must use the Juki LU-1508NH machine…Repost from the 5* thread. 5.5oz leather is no joke. This is my maximum threshold for self abuse. Turned out well though and I could stuff it with candy and get a side gig as a walking human piñata.

Wow, what's this? Eastman rough wear?View attachment 344585
Trying out my best at @jonesy86
Clearly I’m a cheap imitation but a work in progress none the less.
Yes. I just received it. I’m going to try and put up a few more pics and some words this weekend.Wow, what's this? Eastman rough wear?
I don’t think it’s a flat bed, but a sticking out arm type. Must be the same they use to sew the briefcase together. It’s not just the thickness but the temper of the leather is in the realm of medium firm. It holds its shape well. They must use the Juki LU-1508NH machine…
Could be! A shoe machine or bag machine is very likely how about machine to build a tank?I don’t think it’s a flat bed, but a sticking out arm type.
