Picked up this collar a little while back, seller threw rest of jacket in for free. Meanwhile guess I'll include a bit of a fail w/ this Cal straight zip. Ironically, sleeve length I was worried about turned out not to be too much of an issue: too wide shoulders took care of that. Doh.

Super cool!Bates cafe racer - First wear after giving it a few weeks to air out on the back porch.
I worked as a Staff Respiratory Therapist for 43 years, hands on patient care, ER to ICU, with every bug and virus known and not known. I wore a mask, gloves, etc constantly for every isolated patient and whenever in doubt.Huh! Good to know. Our government's approach to the pandemic was along the words of "Wear a mask, save others" while making it clear early on that they have no evidence of masks actually protecting the wearer. It was around that time that I've stopped paying attention to it altogether and just did what they told me to do.
I dig the paint job! (bike and jacket)Schott’s « Cycle Rider », dpocket jacket, during a short ride. View attachment 343008 View attachment 343009 View attachment 343010
@JMax Very nice!!! I wish mine was a white label with the diamond zip pull on the chest; and the front panels on mine aren't matched for grain at all. But still pretty happy with the find! All the panels but one have really nice leather. Yours is awesome!! Maybe someday I'll find a 36 like that for a good price. There's a beautiful one on the 'Bay but for $400, or maybe it's $450...I can't remember. Too steep for me. Although, I guess if I sold all three of my jackets then I could get the one! Hmmm, something to think about maybe... LOL
At Fine Creek that's worth a premiumand the front panels on mine aren't matched for grain at all.
