I am working on it, i hope the soaking I did the other helped with the length a bit but I haven't measured the jacket since. That IH corduroy looks cool, I never really had a corduroy pants/jacket so it's alien to me. I really don't mind the extra length, it's nice to wear something not so short like the leather jackets I have and it helps with the overall look as I don't tuck my shirt in.
No, I think the jacket fits you well, in the length too. Just, some people like their denim jackets shorter. But, that one looks perfect on you.

There will be a 40 degree temperature swing in the next 24-48 hours. We are to hit 80 on Tuesday. Personally I can’t wait. Today it’s 40 degrees so I’ll wear the only jacket that makes me smile. I’ve spotted a gem that might force some jackets into the classifieds (there’s really only one worth selling)...but this one stays.

Always liked this layered leather look. Tommy Flanagan aka “Chibs” should’ve guessed the Scotsman was going to be the best dressed on the show!

Just received my Lewis Leathers Cyclone. Unfortunately just in time for the warm weather. Wearing it inside because I love it and it needs some loosening up. Pricey for sure (especially in veg tanned cow hide), but this is my first high end leather jacket (have had cheap ones) and went all out. I was a little nervous on how the fit and finish would turn out, but happy on all accounts. LL worked with me and customized enough to get the size and fit just right for my tastes. I researched and considered some other brands like Field Leathers and Fine Creek, but the style and iconic history of LL drew me in. Having been a big punk rock fan in the early 80's, the fact that members of The Clash, Ramones, Motorhead, Sex Pistols, + Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, etc etc among many others have worn LL's was the kicker. Call me a wannabe, but I love the history.

Perfect! Saying this as a LL-fanboy, of course. I have yet to try the veg-tan cow, but it sure does looks stunning!

I really like the veg-tan finish. And from what I understand much more environmentally friendly than other tanning processes (if that's a consideration).

Today, nicer contrast to light color pants now. Nice warm color tone too thankfully probably due to suntanning and minkoil period before applying obenauf. So here is nat vegtan 1 year tanning recipy:
-wet the jacket to shape and limit water spotting, wear to dry.
-apply mink oil once dry
-sun bath the jacket 1 hr on each side occasionally, apply mink oil before sun tanning.
-leave the jacket outside (back porch) in the shade for months when not being worn
-wear it in drizzle every now and then.
-once the jacket is about 1yr old hit with obenauf's leather oil 2x thin layers.

The lenght of the backo_O is really at that spot where it often hit the top of the wallet and make the jacket creases weird when it does. Arrr... i call it character.... wooozaah... woozaah.
