Oh, that’s interesting, I never thought of that. I’ve seen old timey photos of a work apron that buttons to that hole, ties at the bottom like a regular apron.Aha! I always thought it was "The TFL-button" to button a second jacket to the front, so that you were able to wear two jackets at the same time...
Only when I pull off the mufflerSure that doesn´t rather scare young folks instead?
Looks good! They do run longer than I prefer. Last one felt too long for me and sold it but I was considering having JL remove the lower band, hack off about 1-2 inches, replace the band. Probably not that easy idk...Have some room with pocket placement. Not sure you would consider but I recall you being pretty close to them.New to me IH Type 3 19oz jacket from @MattinMD. Couldn't resist the iron heart temptation but now I know why this is so highly thought of. Longer in the body than what I'm used to wearing but I don't think it's too bad

Thank you @Psant25 The back length is what prevented me from trying them before, I still prefer the classic shorter body denim jackets but this is too nice to move on from. That's a lot of work for a denim jacket plus JL is swamped with SFPD jacket orders right now. My jacket is running 1 month behind already.Looks good! They do run longer than I prefer. Thank you kindly, HD. I was concerned about the length but it's also nice to wear something longer in length. I actually have the jacket soaking in cold water and will wear it to dry for the rest of the day.I wouldn't want it any longer....but the overall fit sure suits you IMO. Just wear it ahile then maybe give it a good soak to break it in. Very nice Jin !!
