What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

LW Trojan. I’ve been wearing this non-stop for a bit and the front panels are finally giving in.

I neither have Field Leathers nor do I plan on getting one at the moment but I swear, I saw the pics before reading the text and as I'm not good at remembering who has what, my first thought was "Man, what is that, Himel? Why do people say they don't make brilliant jackets 'cause this is absolutely brilliant!" and then I read it's FL.
To someone who's probably spent a better part of their life during the past 10 years, staring at photos of leather jackets (sad, I know), Greg's work stands out. I don't know how or why but it does. Fantastic in every way. Something special.

Thanks, Monitor. High praise, indeed, coming from you! I have to agree. Greg’s work increasingly has his name written all over it.

I find your Himel comparison quite fitting, BTW. Not only because I really like Himel, but because the leather is quite similar (of course, FL does not offer oil tan yet). Very nice hand, a good weight and that intoxicating smell.

Sun was out again today and so was I. I got the Bill Kelso Duke out of the closet. The Duke in Victory Horsehide comes up from time to time in discussions of the "Greatest" leathers. This was the claim of BK back when this jacket was made. Seems very few are out there. The cost was always quite high.

It looked so good I put together a slide show. Not saying it is the greatest, just saying it sure is nice.

Love the shawl collar action here and the boots is just awesome! Looks like you have a little photo bomber on the background too!

That leather is glorious! Great job on wearing this so well! Up top!

Ok, getting fancy. Need to keep up with the Instagramers (and @Tom71 : ) But no cuff checks yet.

Wow! Talk about grains right off the bat! FL I tell you!

Time to bring the forum photography level down a notch with my pics. Temps supposed to moderate in the next few weeks. Cold today but no wind and some sun. Tootsie roll hunt in the front yard.

That jacket is looking even better! The fit is just superb as with someone who knows how to work Aero's odd measurement system! I think you made the correct call on getting nickel hardware, that looks fantastic!

Thanks, Jib. It’s a No. 8. I have never asked about the maker. The puller basically looks like a paperclip. Very reduced. Glad, I went for it too. Those „period correct“ No. 5‘s can get messy after one or two pints...

That looks great, the No 8 is just the right size. I feel the same with the 5's it looks great but a little flimsy at times. I have a 10 on my cxl jacket that works excellent but it's a little too much

@Jin431 Thanks, man! Yeah, my little 4-year-old photo bomber always keeps me laughing and making me happy and satisfied :)

Please share with me your insight about this outfit that I wore today. The thing is I had received some snarky comments about how I look in this outfit on a Facebook page. My question is: In your professional opinion, is it as bad as they made out to be? Any input will be appreciated.
