Me either! Haven’t seen the sun since it landed. I’ll be bummed if when I do get it in full sun it turns out to be pinkI just can't figure out what color exactly this is.

Walter Dyer.
So two things I have to note about this jacket.
One; Either Walter Dyer came up with the best jacket pattern ever or they just lucked out, but either way, the way this jacket... disappears when you put it on is just amazing and something I have never encountered before, at least not to this extent. At 3.3 kg, I'd say this jacket can safely be qualified as mega-heavy-weight. It's massive but somehow you feel like you're not wearing anything heavier than a cotton shirt. Certainly not like there's an additional 6 pounds or more on your back which, with a lesser pattern, can feel quite burdensome. Amazing really and I don't quite understand how they've managed to achieve this. Having tried the jacket on, I think @Marc mndt can confirm my thoughts on the matter.
The jacket is comfortable, has a great reach and all but the weight distribution is divine.
Two; Never seen a jacket made in hide that was more natural or less processed. Seems almost raw in look, texture, feel. Leather is full of natural marks, blemishes, scars, etc. It's... Maybe even ugly in a beautiful way. But even though it's nearly suede-ish, there is still SOMEHOW magically some sheen to it, one that is quite apparent in daylight.
Check out the photo below, taken with flash. It looks shiny but if you saw it on a cloudy day, you'd think it's completely matte.
Very strange leather. Another thing I haven't seen before. I don't know if they were going for that or if it's just a random batch but ... This jacket is The Last of a Breed. No doubts there.

Thanks, I don't have recent close up too dark now, later when I photo wearing it again will do.That looks great! Have you got any closeups by any chance?
I think of this jacket as kind of over-the-top for my personal style, but still find wearing it easier than the sunglasses. Any eye wear advice from those who partake?
Bates. The quilted lining makes it my warmest leather jacket.

Torrential rain.
And guess who busted the Hookless on his Midnight Blue CXL Primo HWM for the third time in 18 months.
Needed a nearby bootmaker (thankfully open despite Covid Lockdown) to literally cut me out of my misery. Drenched like a car that fell into a pond.
That sucks, did he literally have to cut the zipper open? Where the first two repairs covered by Aero?
You would think having to deal with three repairs in 18 months would push them to use better quality zippers...
Damn! Bates?
He used a heavy pair of pliers. I was totally stuck in the jacket, soaking wet from the outside and steaming inside the heavy HH in the heat of the little workshop. I told him to put efficiency before caution. Must have been quite the sight...
Aero have been absolutely forthcoming with the repairs. They didn’t charge anything and sorted me out friendly and quite fast. No complaints at all.
Still, if the same thing happens with the same jacket (and no other jacket) over and over again, there must be a flaw in the design.
Sending the jacket to Scotland again and wait another three months just to NOT use the heavy jacket in spring/summer is no option. The boot maker prides himself to be good with leather repairs, and he will have a go at the jacket over the weekend.
