Let me know how that goes, I need it on my Kehoe.Got my "new" Brooks yesterday. Had about 60 years of cologne in it, so gave it a light wash, solid dry, and 2 coats of coconut oil. I was hoping the coconut oil would darken just a shade (and hide the cologne smell), but that top coat is sick on this thing. Guess it's why so many have lasted all this time.
Overall look, it's kind of like if a Members Only jacket had a bad ass cousin.
Special shout out to Terry M. on sending me the link to this and also some other kind folks on the Find Deals thread for giving me some solid info.
I'm going to take to a tailor to see if he can replace the elastic band in the biswing back. I'm pretty sure it's completely flat and putting in a new one should give it some life and help clean up the poofiness of the back.
Looks almost NOS, that is why the top coat is impervious to oil. Nice jacket.Got my "new" Brooks yesterday. Will do. Give me like 3-4 weeks and remind me in case I forget to update. I can feel the band back there and there's no pull to it whatsoever. So that deep cut on the action back just creates a lot of mess back there as the extra material just puffs out, especially behind and below the arm pit.Let me know how that goes, I need it on my Kehoe.
Golden autumn is the most beautiful time of the year. Beautiful view, great outfit.
Yeah, I’m going back and forth on gussets/bi-swing backs. I like the range of movement, but I’m not thrilled with the way the shoulders lay.Yeah was expecting it to be a sponge, especially after being in the dryer on high for like an hour. But it beaded pretty much right away. It did get absorbed though once I hung it up in the sun. The leather is interesting. Wouldn't exactly call it high quality, but there's something to it. I mean, it was $100. That's a hell of a deal for a jacket that fits like that. Seems like it looks good on everyone if you can figure out the sizing.

The other option is to partially sew down the lower part of the cut. Maybe come up like 3 or 4 inches and just leave open around the arm/deltoid area. That'll work too. I did it on my Schott 141 and it significantly improved how the jacket was rebounding/resting. It does "tighten" up the fit though obviously, but not necessarily a bad thing.

Looks a touch short but pretty darn good otherwise! Almost looks like the zip sleeve descendant of the excelled I posted. Definitely not a layering piece though. That’s a t-shirt fit jacket and would be a better fit with at least 1” in the body and 1/2” in the sleeve. Beautiful brown though! And where we have another example of a Sausage casing for a jacket. Flannel shirt over T-shirt and it's just not working shoulders & Pit to Pit as well as Arms are too tight. Torso is a bit short too. So this "42" Sheene will be right back in the classifieds today. Darn shame as the brown CXL FQHH on this Sheene is breaking in nicely and will be awesome!

Looks like a great fit. What do you think about the front drop? Its one of the heaviest front drops ive seen. Does it work when wearing your shirt tucked?New to me, Aero X Levi's ruff-n-ready asymmetric zip half belt
