Too bad I can’t wear it even to casual Fridays at work

Here’s to the weekend y’all

Glad we meet your expatiation's on the vest. We all thought it looked great at the shop and it will look even better as it ages.
Now when it comes to south Louisiana truedat about pealing off your skin. I have spent a lot of time in New Orleans over the last fifteen years in August. This is the first year we did not make it out there.

Alan it was really a pleasure. My first experience with a custom vest or jacket and I’m very happy with it. Thank you.

August visitors are a rarity! It’s a great time to come and spend less money for the same experience as long as you can stand the heat.

Do y’all come for something in particular?

Hats off to you and yours

Love that! Not the time of year for it now but throw an IH UHF under that puppy and you could probably navigate the entire winter where you are. Nice!

No Iron Heart kit yet, but I do have a few Pendleton wool shirts which work very well. One day I’ll upgrade to the IH!

That’s perfect. I think your search for the straight-zip CHP is over and done. The bike isn’t too shabby either, I really like how it’s setup.
Thanks man yeah this jacket is great on the bike! Glad I put the windshield on. Easy on easy off

It looks great. I never ride with the windshield because of how I have my apes positioned and the long cables. I’ve replaced the clutch cable three times because it rubbed the shield. No matter where I ran the cable. Said eff it, get used to the wind. I’m not going to keep forking over jacket money for cables.

Schott 441PP steerhide jacket over at the coast on our Harley ride coffee stop.

Indian Ocean in the backdrop (again!) yawn yawn..

Arguably my warmest leather jacket with the Schott zip-out faux fur liner.
Bulked up with thermal T AND long sleeve Gildan cotton T. Layering Australia style haha..

Cool start today (by our standards !) of 4C , max of 21C , quite a swing.

We appreciate the kind words and support of our small shop.

According to my friend that was born in New Orleans we have been granted the status of New Orleanians due to the fact we enjoy August and almost never complain about the heat (yea right) more than once a day. Yes we come for Satchmo Fest and over the last fifteen years have watched some of the most incredible musicians. As my wife says Where y’at

It’s a great fest, fantastic music and the Jazz Museum / Old Mint is such a cool spot. Open secret, New Orleanians complain about the heat all the time anyway heh

On topic, here’s that vest how I’d actually wear it. With one of my Pendleton wool flannels, and how I actually wore it today- very lightweight western shirt which is de rigeur for old Cajun guys (one day I’ll be old enough for it to make sense)
