"honey-do mission" ? Ah as in "honey will you do/get this ?"

CHIT we get them missions in Australia ALL THE TIME...

One and the same. I call her my off-duty supervisor, The Polskanator, things like that...but most of the time it’s under my breath.

Haha, she literally just “screamed” that I forgot a key ingredient. Guess who is putting the LW back on and heading to the corner market to finish the mission. Haha.

In my house, she is the general and I am the corporal (on a good day) . . . I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, I introduce her to contractors, salespeople, etc, as the general . . . so that it is clear who will be making the decision.

Exactly right. Yesterday we had the AC repairman at our residence for a coil cleaning. The corporal was left to deal with the situation. In fairness, it gets really hot without AC in South Florida and my General really dislikes the heat, so I usually, and very carefully, ask her to leave. Anyways, once the work is done I am inspecting the AC and I hear a strange noise. When I mention it the technician tells me its normal. I then ask him if he met my wife prior to her leaving. He says yes, and slowly swallows whatever he had in his mouth. I tell him that she has the hearing of a bat and the memory of an elephant, that if she gets back and hears this new noise, she will have his ass in a sling. He understood and set upon finding the cause of the noise. It took him two minutes, a loose screw. Crisis averted, both for the maintainer and her corporal.

Outstanding J!!
You saved a man’s life.
I often wish i could contract my ex-General to be on call for any “discussions” needed. No prisoner would be taken.
Oh, you forgot...mass spectrometer nose. “Did you smoke a cigar”? (Last week).

Haha, that’s right on too. A Bloodhound nose can lead to all types of uncomfortable questions. Though she never cares what I’ve been up to. Don’t know if that’s good or bad.
