One on the left still has the tag on it if you look closely. The right photo has molded to the body a little better. To be honest I haven't wore it much since I got my Thedis. It's not that I don't like the Teamster and would consider passing it on. I just really enjoy the unique qualities of both of my Thedi jackets.

I totally agree with you - the washed Buffalo hides Theodoros is using for his jackets is so unique and it feels so different than any other leather types...softer hand and not the battered/waxy/stiff feeling like Aero's battered hides...nothing bad about the battered hides which I also really like. The liner quality and overall jacket construction of Thedi is also much better (Aero for sure offers also high quality but Thedi is better which explains / justifies the price difference). Glad to hear that you're so glad with both Thedis but your Teamster looks also very good on you!

It's a great hide - it is pre-wallopped, though, and seems to shed top layer quickly. There are miniature surface 'cuts' near underarm rivets, etc. in the surface coating that you'd normally see in HH where the cuff leather has been sewn and hammered. I don't think they're weaknesses in the hide (in fact, every HH jacket I have has some tiny surface blemish and none has ever expanded or affected durability); only my Aero in goat seems 'flawless'. It's like a jacket made out of Tom Waits' voice after Ron Perlman and he have had an argument in a sandstorm.

I know what you mean, most flawless jacket I have is my goat CR, followed by Jerky HH which might be the prettiest to look at but seeing more of that beaten up leather really messes with the list of priorities I have set in life. Tom Waits arguing with Perlman comparison doesn't help. Y'know, if Aero used that as a blurb on their site, that alone'd have pushed it to the most popular hide next to CXL. You need to start allowing people to start throwing money at you!

Haha! The battered hides would be great for a buttoned jacket. The Mulligan - even with that odd chest pocket - would work in either tan or seal (hmmmmm...). This CR has taken on wear so quickly that the notion of treating it preciously just doesn't occur. It's full of little bashes, rivulet veining (probably why the 6 eyelets crack the topcoat as they're stamped in) and general cutter's chips - it goes to show how durable the hide is and that it's daft worrying about imperfections.

Definitely an apocalypse jacket.

Spring has sprung, so some fooling around in my Aero „Team“ BR. Hasn’t seen much wear, as I can only layer with a T-Shirt due to the ultra-high armholes.

What do you guys think about the length? I know it’s meant to be like that (the zipper starts a hair above my belt-buckle), but I think about having it shortened by 1 inch.
Otherwise, fit is great, and it’s a supercool design, so it’s a keeper either way.

No. The... Um, part that extends beyond the zipper has to be of certain length to look right and balanced. The way it's now is perfectly proportional with the rest of the jacket and looks the way it's mean to. Look at the Cal CR's, which are the finest examples of a proper cafe racer out there. Or Buco J-100 or Schott. If you shorten it by an inch, it might end up looking off.

I'd sooner remove the whole bit extending beyond the zipper, rather then just a part of it.

Dunno, that's how I feel about it, at least but honestly, the jacket looks perfect on you. Cafe racers in this style are supposed to be a bit longer. Always were. Aero did a fantastic job with this one!

Almost complete the jacket, 5 out of 6 red crystals are back to their original postion.

Why were the crystals removed? Can't get over how nice these jackets are, though...

Yep, feels like a vest kind of day.

That vest is awesome! Looks really cool. They have a similar type in leather I always consider and never buy...

But yeah, was wearing this the whole morning today. That time of the year again.

I wouldn't shorten it, it finishes just above your front pockets which looks "correct".
It's supposed to be slightly longer than a regular CR.
I like it as it is and don't think you would gain anything by shortening it.

It is perfect. Beautiful design. Reminds me of the Freewheelers CR - the hem below the end of the front zipper is supposed to be several inches lower than other CR designs. A great, old-timey design.
