Found another one at the flea a while back- a vintage horsehide Harley Sportster One Pocket jacket. Needed some repairs- someone had trashed the zipper and poked holes in the bottom to run a leather tie. Jeezus, it was a mess, but the price was right. New C&C old stock zipper and a couple of patches, and I just got it back. I've got to stop buying these Sporsters- this is number 4 hanging in my closet. Sigh.

I have a similar addiction to one-pocket Sportsters. I have two. You can find them cheap (my last one was $100). I can't resist. Poor man's Buco J-100!!!

9+Lbs LW J23. My heaviest jacket, it is stellar.

^ From my ride this past weekend. This jacket is certainly cut slimmer than both the CHP and PJ27. Making it exceptional for riding. The AB work flawlessly, sleeves do not ride up, thick and protective leather, sturdy zip. @roadking04 Definitely check out LW for your next riding jacket. The J23 is the best that I own, due to the slimmer cut in the body as well as the sleeves. This is the way to go if you go LW. The CHP also is very good though.

^ From my recent trip to Cincy for some client meetings.

^Just before heading out one night in Cincy. I have a tank top undershirt, Henley long-sleeve and cotton vest underneath the jacket. It was pretty darn cold for this S FL boy and the jacket performed flawlessly. I like that I can wear with only a T or add some basic layers if required. It's not an either/or jacket.

Thanks for the review Jmax. I am impressed that the jacket weighs more than your Cals. Glad to see that you get to use the fur collar once and awhile. I am glad to hear the jacket works on the bike, especially a bike with apes. I hope to see and hear more about this jacket as it breaks in more.

Lw is on the radar for sure. I hope to have one someday. It is a tough call between the J23 and the Speed Demon. And at 9lbs, I'm sure you raised @Hh121's eyebrows a bit. lol.

It was HH’s!! We worked out a deal and then, by pure happenstance, I was to be in Cincinnati for a week. We linked up and the rest is history. HH had a shipping label all set to go and then I saw that he lived in Cincy. Lucky me.

Glad to hear it worked out good. Sad to see all Hh's heavyweights go. Say it isn't so.
