What is this type of 'dry finish' leather called?

Hi, curious if there is a term to describe this type of 'dry' finish on a leather jacket-not suede as there is grain.

Nubuck, yeah. It's a regular leather - Lambskin in this case, I believe? - that's been (very lightly here) sanded.

Usually a shoe leather. V popular during the 90s, I had loads of Docs made from it when I was a teenager.

Actually I have a pair of nubuck Dr Martens-much more functional than suede as rain doesn't really affect the colour. Hm-not sure if it works well on a jacket, will have to see how I get along with it when it arrives!
