Tweed? I'd wager you could find something close. Straws and Milans are more likely.

Afternoon Gents,

Long time reader, what a fantastic forum. Finally signed up as I have a challenge, I have searched but just can not find this very specific hat.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Betty & welcome to the forum. Is that a movie hat? Or a celebrity hat? It could help to know the name of the movie or person wearing it. I'm not a watcher of Hollywood celebrities so I don't recognize him.

Hi Hurricane Jack,

It's a hat that the actor Jason Momoa wears... came across it in the paper the other day. Thank you for the fast response and kind welcome

BB, once around the Internet & I came up blank. I would say it's a custom hat made for him, distressed & all. You might find an interview where he names the hat maker if asked about his hats.

probably a Nick Foquet custom, he seems to be the go to hat maker for Hollywood types
Exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn't mind seeing a new version from one of the custom guys, as I'm beginning to take an interest in the pencil-roll brims.
And welcome to the Lounge, Black-Betty.
