Violence seems to be an inherent and ubiquitous part of human existence. Sometimes it is in fact "the answer.". Those who think it possible to abjure it altogether, like other categorical thinkers, have done tremedous damage, as have those who grossly overestimate the possibility of changing human nature.

The US government is running radio spots saying "all violence is bad" while murdering people with drones.

Hard to be surprised about certain parts of society banning a lunch box. Banning is just what they invariably do. What is not mandatory is forbidden.

I had a GI Joe lunchbox from the 60's era a a little kid. Very violent explosions and machine gun fire. Probably give the banners a heart attack.
